This is BEFORE. The water iris was taking over the pond.

Here is immediately after the removal (that stuff was
heavy, and left of muddy mess).

And this is during the dividing (I know, every now and then my shutter doesn' t open all the way and I don't notice).

The leftovers. My co-worker took some home for her pond, I kept some for mine, and I still had this much to get rid of!! I tried to tell the pet store owner it was a LOT, but he said he'd take it all....when I got there he said "I didn't know it would be so much." Yeah, well. It's all yours now.
